The Shamisenists 『 The Last Session to be Reborn』

The Shamisenists are a Japanese instrumental three-piece band comprising two shamisen (lead and bass) and drums.
The band play brash, heavy, punk, and progressive music created with traditional Japanese musical instruments. 
The Shamisenists were well received at the Motocultor Festival in Brittany, France in August 2022 which also featured EXODUS and TESTAMENT.
The band will hold a live show at Moon Romantic in Aoyama Tokyo on 3 February 2023. 
They will also be streaming the show. 
Their show The Last Session to be Reborn on 3 February is the release event for The Shamisenists' fourth album "PLAY!". 
It was digitally released in November and on CD in December 2022. 
The Shamisenists also will be taking a break from live activities this year, 2023. 
As this will be their last live performance for some time, the band would love for you to come and watch.
